It is also said that reciting this Surah Kahf protects one from the trials and temptations of Dajjal (the Antichrist). One of the most prominent themes in Surah Al-Kahf is the idea of the end of the world and the Day of Judgment, reminding Muslims to remain steadfast in their faith and prepare for the life after death. It also mentions the stories of Prophet Moses and Dhul-Qarnayn, two great leaders and prophets of the past, and their experiences with the tests and trials of life. The Surah Kahf emphasizes the importance of faith, wisdom, and righteous deeds, as well as warning against disbelief, arrogance, and association of partners with Allah.
It was revealed in Makkah and is named after the story of the People of the Cave mentioned in verses 9-26.
Surah Al-Kahf (Chapter of the Cave) is the 18th chapter of the Holy Quran, consisting of 110 verses.
